May 10th, 2021. cfsbank, is pleased to announce that we will be one of the major sponsors at this year’s Yough River Rally as part of our mission to support our local communities.

“Events such as this are a vital part of a community,” said John Gill, President and CEO at cfsbank. “It gives us great pleasure to be able to give back and help the General Braddock’s Fish Club in any way that we can.”

The Yough River Rally, a three day event organized by the General Braddock’s Fish Club, is scheduled for June 4th through June 6th, 2021 at the Yough River Park in Connellsville, PA.  The event will include live entertainment, microbreweries, food trucks, an “Anything that Floats” competition, rubber duck drop/race, a children’s beauty pageant, and fishing derbies for both children and adults.

“We are thrilled to be able to bring back one of the biggest events in Connellsville,” commented Sharon Rendine, Board Member and Secretary Treasurer of the General Braddock’s Fish Club. “It’s a labor of love, and we sincerely appreciate the support of everyone that helped to make it happen.”

The General Braddock’s Fish Club, which includes over 60 members from the Connellsville area, was established to maintain a local trout nursery, to stock the Youghiogheny River, and to provide outdoor fun for their community.

According to Mike Parlack, Board Member and Nursery Manager of the fish club, organizers expect between three to five thousand people to attend this year’s Yough River Rally. “We are grateful to cfsbank for helping to support the Yough River Rally. This event is something that everyone can enjoy” added Parlack.
